0 Want Longevity? Diligent to Eat It


Long and healthy life is the hope of every person. There are many factors that affect a person's lifespan, including genes, diseases, and food intake.

According to Simin Nikbin Meydani, director of the USDA research center for aging nutrition from Tufts University, there are some foods that should be routinely diasup by those who want a long life. Yet still the most important is consumed in moderation.

- Do not be lazy to eat vegetables
Eat five vegetables and fruits every day, even better, to reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke, and cancer.

- Yogurt
Choose low-fat yogurt and rutinlah eat. Yogurt contains probiotics, the main focus of the current knowledge of the world because of its potential as an immune enhancer.

- Fish
Eat fish two to three times a week. Choose the type of fish that contain omega-3 more because of its benefits for reducing the risk of diseases caused by inflammation.

- Nuts
Replace sugary and fatty snacks with nuts you against heart disease. Limit handful of nuts per day.

- Focus on Fiber
Consumption of fiber, at least 25 grams per day, by eating vegetables, fruits, and whole grains. A diet high in fiber will reduce the risk of death from various diseases.
